YEARBOOK PORTRAIT DEADLINE & INFORMATION (Wylie High School only) YEARBOOK PORTRAIT DEADLINE & INFORMATION (Wylie High School Only) The deadline to have your picture in the Wylie High School yearbook is September 29th, 2007. There is no deadline however for personal senior portraits.
Arrival Time YEARBOOK SESSION-Please arrive early as a courtesy to your classmates and to us. If you are late and the next appointment arrives, you will have to wait to be worked in or be rescheduled. STUDIO SESSION-Please arrive early to allow time for us to look at your clothing, props, backgrounds and discuss any ideas you may have. Also, please be wearing your first outfit when you arrive. If you are late, please be aware that we may have to cut your session short in order to accommodate other appointments that are scheduled after you. Parents Parents are welcome to be in the camera room during the session. However, if we sense tension or nervousness because you are there, we may ask you to wait in the waiting room. Clothing Bring outfits that best reflect your personality: from dressy to casual, traditional to funky. Try to match specific outfits with specific props you might wish to bring. Generally, solid colors photograph better than wild patterns BUT please wear what you feel comfortable in. If you're a wild pattern kind of person, then by all means wear it. Senior portraits should express who you are. Generally, darker colors tend to have a more slimming effect. If you're self-conscious about your arms, don't wear sleeveless or spaghetti strap tops. These will only exaggerate those features. Props Please bring props that show what you enjoy doing at this time in your life. Examples are letter jackets, hats, musical instruments, sports equipment or uniforms, hobbies, cars, small pets, stuffed animals, etc. If it expresses you then bring it. Call if you have any questions. Grooming NOTE: For the Wylie yearbook session, please make sure hair, facial hair and jewelry adhere to the WISD dress code policy. The dress code can be view at www.wylieisd.net/Documents/Policies/DressCode.wspx. Hair: Your senior portrait session is NOT the time to be experimenting with new hair styles (or colors). If you do get it cut, try and do it at least a week before the session so you can get used to the way you want to style it. A rumor was circulated last year that hair didn't matter because you will be wearing a cap for the cap & gown pose. This is not true! The tux/drape pose is the one that will be put in the yearbook so your hair does matter. Make-up: Ladies, wear makeup that is natural for you. If you must change your makeup during your session, try to wear the lightest amount for the early part of the session and then add as the session goes. But remember, the more time you spend putting on make-up, the less time we will have to photograph. Shave: Guys, a fresh shave looks the best! If you have a mustache or beard, please have it trimmed. Fun We want you to have fun during your senior session at B&E Photography. Remember, the senior session is about you! So just relax and have fun!
