B&E Photography was formed in 1996 after a relative asked us to photograph her daughter's wedding. We had no formal training in photography and didn't even own a camera. We initially told her no but she was persistant so we finally gave in. With a borrowed camera, we photographed our first wedding. And yes, it was scarry! Up to that point, photography was not anything we were particularly interested in but we decided to give it a try and now here we are 15 years later making it our full time profession.

We initially started out doing weddings on the weekends while we worked our other jobs. Over the years, people would ask us to photograph other things like their family, their senior, or their sports team. Now, we hardly have time to even do weddings because of the demand for our other services. We currently provide portrait services for families, children and high school seniors; school photography services for 12 schools; team sports photography; event photography and commercial/business photography.

Brad was raised in Garland and is a graduate of Garland High School and has a bachelors degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. Elana was raised in Wylie and Richardson and is a graduate of Richardson High School. Our son Carter has spent his whole life in Wylie and is a sophomore at Wylie High School. He is a percussionist in That Wylie Band.
